The Portland Door Restoration Family

Introducing the Members of the Portland Door Restoration Family

Wayne Valzania – Founder & Guide

Wayne is a practicing woodworker and millwright who nurtures a team of talented and dedicated artists, fabricators and wood finishers in the restoration of doors and entrances that can be restored, and the replication of those that can’t. Working with the owners of historic places, be they historic in the sense of recognized importance in architectural history, or important as heirlooms worthy of preservation to the families who live in them, our work extends the functional longevity of what is often the first impression of a home and the welcoming portal to the folks living within.

Bella Rielly – Artist, Woodworker, Furniture & Door Maker.

Bella is a graduate of Maine College of Art & Design. Her interests in woodworking, furniture making, and the creation of visual and functional art provide a solid foundation for the design and fabrication of our specialty and passion, doors and entrances. Bella’s sense of proportion and balance coupled with her insatiable desire to master her craft ensure that the doors we design and create are exceptional works of architectural art.
